In response to the national high-quality development and the "Dual Carbon" strategy, and to promote the quality and upgrading of green productive forces in the Greater Bay Area, the "Exploring Carbon for New Productive Forces - 2025 Greater Bay Area Government-Industry-Academia-Research-Investment-Application Integration Green Technology and Energy Development Forum", co-organized by Huiyuan Cowins Technology Group Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 01116.HK, hereinafter referred to as "Huiyuan Cowins"), was successfully held on August 28. As a representative enterprise listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that is transitioning from traditional steel manufacturing to smart energy storage, Huiyuan Cowins not only demonstrated the industrialization achievements of phase change energy storage technology at the forum, but also joined hands with multiple forces from the "government, industry, academia, research, investment, and application" to build an efficient collaborative ecosystem and a six-party dialogue and cooperation platform involving the government, enterprises, education, scientific research, finance, and application, providing a practical path for the integrated development of Hong Kong's technological innovation and green economy.

As a listed company rooted in Hong Kong, Huiyuan Cowins also plans to leverage Hong Kong's advantages as an international financial hub to promote the globalization of green technologies. Dr. Ye Renjie proposed at the forum that the company will work with the Hong Kong SAR Government and financial institutions to explore innovative financial instruments such as carbon trading and green bonds, enabling the Greater Bay Area's low-carbon solutions to enter the global market via Hong Kong. This vision is highly aligned with the initiative put forward by Mr. Siu Ka-fai, Chairman of the Liberal Party. In his speech, Mr. Siu pointed out, "Hong Kong needs to accelerate the implementation of the integration of 'government, industry, academia, research, investment, and application' to make technological innovation the core driver of high-quality development. 其中,「懷來縣“碳中和”數(shù)字農(nóng)業(yè)產(chǎn)業(yè)示范基地」項目成效顯著,成為行業(yè)關(guān)注焦點,系統(tǒng)節(jié)能率超逾60%。該項目依托相變蓄能核心技術(shù),通過回收數(shù)據(jù)中心余熱,經(jīng)轉(zhuǎn)化儲存后為設(shè)施農(nóng)業(yè)供能,能精準(zhǔn)調(diào)控作物生長溫度,有效縮短作物生長周期,大大提升農(nóng)地利用率,更推動植物高效吸收二氧化碳,實現(xiàn)『負(fù)碳排放』的效果,打破傳統(tǒng)能源『用即棄』的局限,為農(nóng)業(yè)低碳轉(zhuǎn)型成功打造『化廢為寶、負(fù)碳推動綠色發(fā)展』范本。
Among them, the "Huailai County 'Carbon Neutral' Digital Agricultural Industry Demonstration Base" project has achieved remarkable results and become the focus of the industry, with a system energy saving rate exceeding 60%. Relying on the core phase change energy storage technology, the project recovers waste heat from data centers, converts and stores it to supply energy for facility agriculture. It can accurately regulate the crop growth temperature, effectively shorten the crop growth cycle, greatly improve the utilization rate of agricultural land, and further promote the efficient absorption of carbon dioxide by plants, achieving the effect of "negative carbon emissions". This project breaks the limitation of traditional energy being "used and discarded", and successfully creates a model of "turning waste into treasure and promoting green development through negative carbon emissions" for the low-carbon transformation of agriculture.
